BadgeBar

Hide the Dock. Keep the badges.

Apps show unread counts on their Dock icons, which is no help once the Dock is hidden. BadgeBar puts those counts in your menu bar, one icon per app, so nothing slips by.

Everything new, one glance away

Every app gets its own icon

Any app that shows a badge on the Dock can have a menu bar icon, with its count on top. Icons fade when there's nothing new.

Read before you switch

Right-click an icon to see who wrote and what they said. Click it to open the app, just like the Dock.

Set it up your way

Show the count on the icon, the number beside it, or just a dot. Set it for every app at once or one app at a time.

Notice what just arrived

When a count goes up, its badge pulses, glows or shimmers for a moment. It can keep repeating until you read it.

Group apps into one icon

Put related apps under one icon that shows their total. Give it any symbol, or your own image.
